Airport Operations/Airport Rescue Firefighter

This is a permanent full-time position including health insurance, retirement, and paid leave.  The position includes all aspects of airport maintenance to meet FAA standards regarding the airfield, terminal, and general aviation areas.  The candidate will be required to successfully complete an Airport-sponsored Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter Training Program.  The job requires the ability to operate heavy machinery such as tractors, fire engines, and snow removal equipment.  A background check will be required as well as a clean driving record.  Good communication skills are essential to this position.  The position requires shift work with some evenings, early mornings, and weekends.  The starting salary is $19.37 per hour or depending on experience and certifications.
